My new Lo's for Lexi's album

These were done at I think 32 weeks. I used the Stampin' Up! rub ons and the rest are from other sorces like the paper and the ultrasound sticker and baby tag.

I was 32 weeks pregnant in this picture. I used all Stampin' Up! products. This is all from the SS kit Special Delivery Girl

This was all Stampi' Up! products also, I used the Spring Fling Designer Series Paper, retired number stamps, rub ons and 5/8" grosgrain ribbon

This LO was done with photos before I had Lexi, this was the day before when I was checked in for my induction on 2/12, I included my ID band and the tag in the bottom says: Cervidil started @ 6:40pm and Pit Drip started @ 4:30am

I used papers anddie cuts from the daisy bucket company

This was also from the daisy bucket company.

This was the next day after they broke my water at 8:40 am or so. I typed up info on what happened from the time my water was broken until I delivered.

National Scrapbooking Day Event

This is a 12 hour event. Bring all your stuff you have been working on and have fun. There will be goodie bags for all, door prizes and other fun stuff. Cards for a friend

So friends of ours are moving here in a fe weeks. I thought it would be great to suprise them with these cards so that they can let friends and family know their new address with style. They were going to do cards, but decided that with time and all to just let everyone know by word of mouth. I felt that this was way more cool and the friends and family had a hard copy of the new address to put on the fridge or something. The husband loves old trucks and in fact bought one my husband had. He is going to paint it a pale yellow, so I made this truck about as close to that color as I could. I made about 20 hoping that it would be enough, I know that they have a large family and a lot of friends, so I hope it will cover everyone!!

My First Name Frames

Ok so I made 2 name frames after FINALLY unpacking the box that had the frames in them. We have some friends that are moving soon to Corpus Chrisite in a bout 3 weeks, so I made them a name frame to put in their new home when they move.

This one below I made for my daughter that is due in a bout 4 weeks. her room will be pink and chocolate, so I used pink and chocolate colors and pattern paper from the new line called Berry Bliss. I did add one extra color besides the pretty in pink and close to cocoa and that was a little purely pomegranate

Valentine's Day Cards

I LOVE this stamp set. I can use it for so much more than Valentines Day, but here are my cards just using it for that purpose. I have several that may look the same but there are some differences.

The card above is for my husband. I used the love you butterfly, created a cute handmade border around the card on the Pixie Pink card stock. I also used a Real Red brad instead of ribbon on the tag.

sorry I haven't posted in a while

I had to take my husband in for surgery on Friday at San Antonio after spending the whole day at WHMC on Thrusday doing paper work for the surgery. I have been taking care of him and the girls since then and trying to make it through so rough labor pains that I am sure were brought on by all the extra work I have been doing.

I did make a few things several days ago and got pictures, just have not had the chance to post them. I will be posting them today if I get some down time to do that.

1. I crack my nuckles on my hand all the time, I do not notice how much I really do it, but hubby says its at least every 15 minutes or so

2. I am always doing something with my hands even if its just biting the skin near the nail. i guess its the ADHD in me

3. I fidget all the time when in the car or sitting watching TV or palying on the computer, guess its another ADHD thing

4. I eat the side dishes almost all gone before eating the main meal

5. I refuse to fold laundry after I take it out of the dryer

6. I find myself all day walking into the kitchen and walking right back out even if I am not hungry and just ate

7. I tend to call my husband on the cell all the time even if I know its turned off or he can't talk, another ADHD thing

The 2 scrapbook LO's on the black background are for our family scrapbook.

The one above I stamped the background instead of using card stock to creat a cool looking background.
The one above I also did not use much cardstock ecept to add just a little color to go along with the Queen and Co. flowers and brads.
The card above is from a new set in the Spring / Summer Catalog .
The box above is something I am thinking about doing for the workshop coming up that I will be having at my house. I am not sure yet if I will do his project or not. I am still looking around at cool projects.

I have been doing some catch up on my scrapbooks these last few days. I spent all day Friday doing a few pages and then yesterday I did a few more that I will post later. These are just of Arwen right now and then I will do Tori and Family pages for those books. I found about 7 rolls of film after we moved and I unpacked my scraproom a little and had them developed. Never knew how old someof them were until I got the pictures back. THeoldest was from Arwen's 2nd birthday. Well here they are!!

I found a LO challenge on SCS the other day and thought I would give it a try. The first 2 cards are from the SCS151 challenge.
The above card is a streached version of the card LO. I hope you all like it. I was not sure if the corner brackets looked good or not on the card. You can't tell, but the black part is punched all around the edges with the little holes.

New LO

I made this one last night after getting back from San Angelo to celebrate my 29th birthday. I bought new papers and then Greg got me a really nice circle cutter, so I had to try it out.

The black, green card stock, hardware and ribbon is all Stampin Up, but the other stuff is misc items I have like the chipboard letters and purple bazzill card stock and then the pattern paper is Deja Views plum blossom in the fresh print collection.

There is a hidden journal tag behind the picture that reads:

We were not trying to get pregnant, but we left on night to chance and in return we got a baby. It turned out to be the best gift ever for us both. We were given another chance at having a baby after the loss of baby #3 11 months earlier.

1st LO's for Lexi's album

This one is to be the second LO in the book after a LO done with the test strip as the picture for when we first found out.

This one is of the 1st three ultrasounds that I had done. My OB does only ultrasounds at each visit to check on the status of the baby. I choose this title since the last baby I lost would not grow, so each visit I was saying to my self grow please.

This next one is the last ultrasound I had done a week or so ago when we were told that it was a girl for sure. He told us at the visit before, but we did not get a picture from that visit, and he was not as sure as he was this time. YES, I know I am missing a letter in my word expecting, but that stamp seems to be missing at this time from the rest of the set. if I am unable to find it I will have to see if anyone else has the same set that I can borrow to finish the word.

I finally made some cards the other day with my friend Brooke Mustin. She came over while her Hubby and mine did boy stuff on old vehicles. I wanted to try the basic grey and used the SU color combo site to come up with something that looked good with the basic grey.

This card uses one of the color combos that I found. I really like this one the best since my fav colors this year for the In Color is Wild Wasbi and Groovy Guava.

Today....

Well, I know that many would think that I did not do too much today, but I cleaned the bathroom downstairs, washed some of Arwen's gDiaper liners and outers, did a little school work, got the candy all ready for Trick/Treaters, put all my cardstock away in its new place in my scraproom, unloaded my travel tote that is for crops, cleaned off my scrap table and put away a few albums after putting them back together.

This is all on top of taking care of the girls. They are both sick now, and Arwen went from having fevers from 102-105.5 for 7 days and not eating for 6 of them to now just having a simple runny nose. Tori is also having the runny nose, cough and sounds really funny when she talks.

I have also started making a list of layouts I want to do for Lexi's album and what I want to have in it. I figured it would be less scatter-brained if I sat down and wrote out a list of LO's to do with what pictures first so that they are all attached in my albums right. I say this becasue I use the strap hinges from Creative Memories, and once the LO is attached to the main page, you can't change it. I have got 4 LO's written down that I will do with ultrasound pictures, pictures of my belly, ultrasound picture saying it's a girl, and one at the start about me finding out I was pregnant again.

Greg said today that he would be home early so that we can get the house ready for the treaters, get the girls ready and then also carve the pumpkins. They have been rotting fast when carved too early, so we wanted to wait until today to do it. I can't wait to do up the seeds for tonight to munch on. I LOVE pumpkin seeds better than anything else, even chocolate!!

I saw this card on SCS and thought I would try it for a mock up for Lexi's birth annoucments. I loved it so much that I have decided that this is what I will make. I am going to start actually working on them soon so that I do not have to worry about the holidays, school starting soon again and then getting down to the wire and not having them done.

This is the inside tag that opens up so that I can have plenty of room to put a picture of Lexi like I have done with my other girls and also fit all the birth information.

I talked to my doctor and he said that the UTI is a big factor in causeing contractions due to the infection in the bladder. I was put on meds to clear that up and he gave me something different than the first time. This is supose to work and I needed to take in more water.

I am feeling much better and will watch it for a bit until the meds are starting to work more.

Issues..

I have been having issues since Saturday evening. I started having irruglar contractions after walking around Target for almost 2 hourse doing my baby registry and then shopping with friends. After that I was in some pain from just pains all the way home which is a 2 hour drive. I then Sunday while at HEB buying a few things for the kitchen and house I strted having contractions again.

I am worried since I am only 20w5d and the baby would not survive if born right now. I called the doc office today and they said that I would get a call back. I think it might be a result of me still having a UTI and that can cause preterm labor, so I need that checked and taken care of if that is the case.

Getting ready for Lexi's birth

I am now finally registered at Terget and babiesrus for my up coming baby shower that Jennifer is giving me. Since base houseing is small, it will be held at my house off base November 3rd @ 2pm. I got to make sure the house is unpacked and lookig good by then.

I have decided to use the same bedding set that I used for Arwen and now I have picked out the room colors from the bedding set. I will be apinting wide stripes on the lower half of the wall with a light green and purple and then the upper half will stay the light cream that the room is now or I will do a light pink.

I had to register for clothing since I sold all my girl outfits from the size 0 - 9 months almost a year ago, yea I know STUPID me!! I also had to register for a new car seat becasue I did the same thing as with the clothing thinking that I would not need it for a long while, Yep I know again STUPID me.

Greg is not stressing about getting things ready since it is only just October and I am not due until February, but I just have that feeling like I will not make it to my due date since Tori was born on her due date and Arwen tried to come at 30 weeks and then finally came 3 1/2 weeks early, he says we have plenty of time, but I want to be ready before she comes.

All I know is if he waits too long to let me get things ready in Lexi's room, then I might have to take charge and do it all myself without his help!!

We have now Moved!!!

We are now off base and in our new house in town. The house looks like it threw up on its self with boxes every where, but we are at aleast moved in. There are a lot of things that need to be done, like fix the shower in the down stairs bathroom and paint, but that is about it.

My scraproom is going to be the first room unpacked and fixed and then the kitchen. We all know that scrapbooking take over the kitchen stuff!!!

I am so glad to have it done for now, my hubby Greg had to do all the moving without my help since I can't really lift a lot, but he did get some help from a friend of ours that lived down the street from us on base. I felt so sorry for him since all the stuff that we own is VERY LARGE antiques that weigh a TON!!

It's a Girl

Ok well at the ob appt today we found out that we are having another girl. It was so noticeable that is a girl without a doubt. I have seen the same view with my other two girls and its the same, no extra body parts coming off between the legs.

So we are going to name her: Alexandrea Rose Nelson and call her Lexi

Ok its almost time for my first workshop since I have been living in Texas.
This workshop will be from Noon-4pm on Saturday, October 13th @ my new house off base.

We will be making 10 cards that come with envelopes and also you will get lunch which will be sandwiches.

The price for the crop is $10 to cover the cost of the envelopes and all the material you will use to make the cards.

I made this card using my new stamp set Artfully Asian and my new corner punch.

This is our Halloween cards for this year. I had to use the new set that I got from the Fall/Winter 2007 Catalog. This set is the Haunting Halloween.

This is also using the Artfully Aisan stamp set.

This is our Christmas Cards for this year. I got this set from Marie, my neighbor. My husband LOVES this set, so I thought I would use it for this year. I went with more traditional colors this year instead of my purples that I did last year. This set is retired and is the Snowflakes.

I made this card using stamps from CTMH. This was for us moving. We are moving off base into town and I needed to send out new address cards to family and friends.

Finally Home...

We are finally home after being gone for about 2 weeks. We drove to NC from the south part of TX and it was a long 3 days of driving. We first stopped in to see my birth mom and family and it was great first meeting. My girls loved her horses and enjoyed riding on them.

We then went to my parents house and I had my 10 year reunion that Saturday. Well, that went ok since it was nice to see all my friends that I have not seen in 10 years, but for the price of the runion it was really not that great. The food also sucked big time!!

We left there to head back home after a few days and stopped in at my birth mom's again to visit and let the girls play with the horses.

This is our little one and its his head and eyes with the arms up by the side of the head. Your looking down at the head and forhead.

THe doc said that he saw a nub between the legs and thinks its a boy but will better tell at the next appt in 4 more weeks. From experiance with having girls and looking at really crapy u/s machines I know with my girls there was no nub of any sort and it was all smooth in the middle. So more than likely its a boy and that is what the doc thinks too, so we will see.

Going out of town soon

We will be going out of town soon to drive to NC. We will be leaving the 3rd of September and be gone until at least the 12th. I have a 10 year reunion to attend back home in NC on the 8th so that is the main reason for this trip.
We will stop in a see my birth mom whom I have not seen since I was 5 years old and do not remember for a day or two and then head to my folks place the the reunion that weekend. The reunion is only one day and we will spend a few days there working on the house we still own that renter's left in a crappy state after being evicted.
We were planning on going to Disney after that and spend a week, but will now be heading back home to start moving off base to a much bigger house that we will pay less rent for. That is right, they will start making us pay rent on base now that it will be privitazied. They will make us pay our whole housing allowence which is about $1,600 and I am not paying that for a house that is 1500 sq ft when I can get the house off base for $1100 and its about 2800 sq ft.

The trip will be long with all the driving and 2 toddlers, but should be fun. We plan to stop and see stuff on the way there and enjoy our trip.

I spent all day working on my school work. I am so far behind and now I am trying to catch up. I let meself get behind and now I am paying the price. I sat at the computer from 2pm - 8pm doing nothing but tests, papers and projects. My back now hurts and the girls can't figure out why mom only comes in when they need food or drinks.

Greg is gone TDY until Sunday night so I am on my own. I am doing all my catch up now since I have mid-terms next week. I have to have all make-up work done by Saturday midnight. Once I am caught up, I will have to do everything that is not due until September 8th and turn it in before I leave out of town on the 2nd. I will be on the road a lot and my family has computers, but they are on dial-up and it takes FOREVER to do anything.

I am tired of looking at school books, taking my fingerprints and reading American literature. I want to work on scrapbooking so bad!!

I had this taken today at my appointment. We are at 11 weeks today. The heart was beating just fine and we even saw him move his little arms and legs around some on the ultrasound.

OK well for the most part its left. I am feeling much better that I was at the start of this pregnancy. I now only get sick if I eat too much or if I eat way too late and then try to go to bed with a full tummy.

I am getting big, but then they say you show more with each pregnancy, so I guess this means I will be uncomfortable for a longer period of time than most. I will have my next appointment on the 2nd of August with the doctor in town. I know we will get to have another ultrasound so we will see how things are going inside.

Tori's 4th Birthday

We had our first appt. yesterday to see the little one and got to see the heart beating. We were very happy about that since the last baby that we lost we never got to see a heartbeat. We have a due date of Feb. 22, 2008 according to the ultrasound. So that means a winter baby!

Its so funny, we just got rid of a bunch of baby things a few months ago at a yard sale thinking that we would not be getting pregnant again for a while and did not need them any time soon. Now i am wishing that I did not sale the items because we will have to re-buy it all again.

We do not have family that buys all that type of stuff for us, so we end up getting it all our self, so now we are kicking our self in the butt for it!

Our next appt. will be in 4 weeks on Aug. 2, 2007!!

This is made also with another one of Jennifer's sets. I used the liquid Applique that was in a mini catalog from last year to make the 3D effect in the cups.

Here is one more that I made with Jennifer's stamp set. I was not sure if I would like this set, but I think that I do!

This was made also with a set borrowed from Jennifer. I was not that happy with it after I was done. I should have picked out a word that had more substance to it than the greatful one that I picked out.

I made this last night. I was going to add more to it, but when I got done with it at this point, I liked it the way it was. I borrowed the Stamp set from Marie last night. I don't like calling anyone after 9pm so it was right about 9 when I called. I feel as if I may have woke her up. I felt crappy afterwards. SORRY Marie!!

This is another one I made with the stamps set I LOVE SO MUCH that I borrowed from Marie. I love how it came out. I may keep it for myself. :)

My other card with different colors with the same stamp set that I got from Marie. This turned out WAY better than I thought it would at first. When I was doing it, I was not sure how it would look, but now you can see its fairly nice looking.

Butts & Guts

OK so Jennifer, Brooke and I decided to try a class at the gym called Butts & Guts today at lunch time. Well let's just say we did not run out and buy the month pass for the class right yet. I think Brooke did the best out of us 3 by far. I was in the far back of the class about to DIE and I think that Jennifer was not far behind me and then there is Brooke who was not doing too shabby.

We will go again on Friday when they offer it again to try it one more time to see how we like it, but in the mean time try a few other classes that are offered at the gym here on base. The major suck factor is that the only night time class offered is a spin class and I am not going to take that. it will kill me and Brooke agrees with me. Jennifer LOVES her spin class.

I wanted to try the baby wipe idea with the reinkers, so I made this card. it did not turn out so bad.

I made this one for Marie. She will be having a little baby boy soon and loved this giraffe in the wild about you stamp set I borrowed from her. Yes, I made her a card from her own stamp set!!

I made this card to put in my Misc. cards to use when someone has a baby girls and I can use it. I have a box with dividers in it that has ones that say baby, thank you, birthday and so on. It was empty, so I made a ton of cards today to fill it back up.

This was another misc. card made for my box of cards to use for when ever. I would use this card for someone if their husband had left to go over seas as a pick me up card or something like that.

Once again another one of misc. cards. This is one that will go in the 'thank you' slot of the box.

This was made at a stamp camp that I haeld while living in FL with a bunch of military wives. It was a big hit.

** I was asked if this was made using a sizzix, it was cut by hand. I made the card the normal way then cut the front flap shorter by several inches so that when I cut the back flap I could create the tab. I rounded the edges by hand, but you can use the corner rounder to make it eaiser.

I just got this on Sunday at a Scrapbook store in San Angelo and am in love. I FINALLY have something to pull all my goodies around to crops. I LOVE the colors and they are so me. I have already started loading it up and getting it ready for the next crop.

OK well the big question is night time. here is the way you do that. this is off the site of gDiapers. You load a diaper the normal way (#1) and then take a second flushable and fold it like (#2)

This is what you do for girls. You place the floded flushable (#2) in the center, I sometimes move a little towards the front for my younger since she sleeps on her tummy and more towards the back if they would sleep on their back.

This is for boys. Place folded (#2) flushable in the very front for the added protection.

Flushable - the part the kids potty's on

outer cover called a 'little g'

snap-in liner pre loaded with a flushable. Yes the flushable is larger than the liner, but that's why it creates the U shape to cup the childs bum.

Now its ready to go and place on the child. The g on the out side of the 'little g' cover goes on the back side of the child. The means that yes, it will velcro on towards the back to keep the chaild from being able to undo it. I know I have had naked babies running around due to them taking their diapies off.

Arwen in her green 'little g' / Ok the left side is not attached like the right is and is worng but it was fixed after the pictures. It should look like the right side, sorry. She does not sit still for changes!!

swishstick - this is used to help break down the inercore of the flushable.
One you have changed the baby, you take the flushable and tear down both sides and empty out the center of the flushable into toilet. Swish it around a little and then flush. I hold onto the outer part and flush it the second time around since I live on base and have low water flow, VERY little water in bowl and old pipes.

This is Arwen while in the hospital. They make us stay 48 hours at Eglin AFB. She was so Little. All products are Stampin' Up! except the rub on and its making memories

Papers are by the my Mind's Eye Company, Ribbon is CTMH and Brads are Creating keepsakes. This was the day that Arwen got to leave the hospital.

Arwen was a little thing. She was only 3 days old in these pictures. Everything is CTMH products.

Papers are CTMH and the Rubon is unknown.

I had a crop at my house and since no one came by I had the huge tables I rented to my self to do my LO's. I am trying to get my youngest's daughter's album up to date first and then move on to the others.

I Loved this paper and had to use it. Its not Stampin' Up! paper, but its so fitting for my girls. They love to make trouble. They were filling in the flower bed as my husband was trying to clean it out in preparations to add potting soil and then flower.

I made these after finding the Halloween pictures from when we lived off base this past Halloween. The girls are just too cute.
